On Friday evening, December 8th, we are taking our church to Operation Christmas Child in Charlotte to help pack shoe boxes! Here is the information for our service opportunity!
When is our reservation?
We are signed up to work the 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift on Friday evening, December 8th.
Who can come on this trip?
At Northside, we want to help build strong families. So, we hope that families will consider serving together! However, Operation Christmas Child has an age requirement. You must be at least 13 years old to serve.
How many spots did we reserve?
We reserved 75 spots total (25 spots for students, and 50 spots for adults).

What is our schedule?
- Students – Please meet in the church parking lot at 5:00 PM. We will hop on the church bus and grab an early dinner somewhere cheap. After everyone is finished eating, we will head to Charlotte to pack shoe boxes. We should be back in the church parking lot between 10:45 PM - 11:00 PM.
- Adults – Please meet us at the Operation Christmas Child location in Charlotte at 6:45 PM.
Does this cost any money?
It does not cost any money to serve at Operation Christmas Child. However, our students will need a few bucks for dinner.
What is the plan for transportation?
The students are going to ride on the church bus. Adults will drive separately (consider carpooling with some friends).
