grow in the word

Sunday morning Bible study classes for children, youth, and adults continue! Our adult Sunday school class will have two studies this quarter on "Putting Fear in its Place" and on "How to Discern the Voice of God".

In addition to a traditional Sunday School format for adults, we are also offering Core Seminars. These seminars provide vital topical and biblical studies specifically designed to help you grow in your knowledge and practice of your faith. Details are as follows:

New Core Seminar: Know What You Believe
Starting September 11th, meet in the Small Auditorium for a new Core Seminar based on the popular book by Paul Little, "Know What You Believe." Written for normal people, Little does an excellent job taking the core of Christian doctrine and making it understandable. Come explore what Christians believe about: God, the Bible, Jesus, the atonement, sin, the Holy Spirit, and the things to come! Whether you are new to theology or an accomplished student, this Core Seminar will have something for everyone.

All classes will start at 9:15 AM. Children will meet in their area, youth in theirs.

Our Wednesday nights classes provide an opportunity for everyone to learn the Bible in community. Employing the three key elements of personal study, group discussion, and teaching time, these classes seek to cultivate Bible literacy and rich community in active, dedicated learning environments. The goal of these classes is to train each member of the family to know, understand, and apply the Bible in ways that produce transformation in Christlikeness.

In 2022, each of our Wednesday night classes—including youth and children—will be focused on The Bible Reading Challenge. Each Wednesday, we will gather together to discuss what we are personally learning from God's Word and to receive teaching on a key passage from The Bible Study Challenge.
