WHAT TO EXPECT

Is this your first time visiting Northside? Not sure where to go? Do you have children and want to know what's available for them? Don't worry! Everyone at our church was new at one time or another, so we remember what it's like and we're here to help you find your way! Below you will find answers to commonly asked questions.

WHAT KINDS OF PEOPLE ARE THERE?

You'll meet all different kinds of people at Northside -- from parents proud of their newborn, to singles enjoying socializing, to senior adults hanging out with lifelong friends. Northside is truly a multi-generational community of faith with people from all walks of life. No matter your age or background, you should expect to find friendly and caring people who genuinely desire for you to feel part of the family. We’ll help you in any way to feel welcomed at our church!

WHICH WORSHIP SERVICE SHOULD I GO TO?

Our 9:00am worship service is more traditional -- we are led in worship by our choir, we sing hymns, and the majority of people like to dress up a little more. Our 11:00am service is more modern -- we are led in worship by our band, we sing a mixture of hymns and contemporary songs, and most people are dressed a little more casually. You are welcome to attend either of our Sunday morning services! You can even come to both, if you want!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

While most people tend to dress up a little more for our 9:00am service and more casually for our 11:00am service, we encourage you to come as you are! While you might tend to worry about what to wear to church, you will fit in just fine whether you come in jeans and a t-shirt, polo and khakis, or a suit and tie. What is in our hearts is more important than what is on our body!

WHAT IS THERE FOR MY CHILDREN?

Children are a precious gift from God. That's why we provide quality, energetic, and fun programming for them. We've got all the resources necessary: well trained teachers, great facilities, and plenty of toys and resources. While you are in Bible study, your children are too -- in a developmentally appropriate way. We have an excellent nursery for your little ones (birth-kindergarten) that is open on Sunday mornings from 10:00am-12:15pm, during our Bible study hour and our 11:00am service. We have a secure check-in for each child and all of our children's volunteers are required to have a background check.

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

When you arrive on our church campus, make your way to the west side of our buildings for our main parking lot. If you have physical limitations and need help getting to our Sanctuary, please pull around to the front of our campus. Someone from our welcome team will be ready to help you get out of your vehicle and into the building. If you are an expecting mother, we have multiple spots that are reserved for you close to our Nursery & Preschool building (this building has the covered drop-off).
